nov 7, 2015 - Obama Decline Pipeline Advancement
President Obama decided to say no to the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline from Canada. This angered many engineers and people in the oil and gas industry, but satisfied the environmentalists who were opposed to the project to begin with. Obama justified his decision by saying, "Ultimately, if we're going to prevent large parts of this earth from becoming not only inhospitable but uninhabitable in our lifetimes, we're going to have to keep some fossil fuels in the ground rather than burn them and release more dangerous pollution into the sky."
