8h 11min, sep 15, 1774 y - The First Continental Congress
The First Continental Congress was with 50 leaders from 12 colonies. They all met in Philadelphia for a meeting in 1774. Even though they did not all agree with one another, they still came together and discussed the independence of the colonies. This could create a whole new government. This is also where faithful patriots started calling themselves Americans. They all came together to send a message to King George, so he could consider their complaints and see their rights.
