We know from history that humans lived in caves and were witness to the migration of animals.
Images using twisted perspective.
Different types of animals and line work
These were drawn on using charcoal and ochre.
The cave can hold up to 50 people and the images cover a vast area. There also evidence of scaffolding.
The artists plotted the forms before adding in color. There’s evidence of drawing and redrawing especially in the larger rooms.
