A series of violent killings and summary executions of prisoners in Paris that occurred from September 2nd to 6th, 1792, during the French Revolution. During this time, between 1,176 and 1,614 people were killed by various groups, including sans-culottes, fédérés, and guardsmen. The killings were often carried out with the support of authorities, including gendarmes, the Cordeliers, the Committee of Surveillance, and other revolutionary sections of Paris.
