In this world women are considered inferior, so when Athena was presented to the rest of the team many where against it like Jarek, others felt intrigued about how a woman did it, like magnus, and others just didn't care, like óskar. Jarek felt betrayed by having a woman in the group and asked her to fight him and prove herself. She did and destroyed him like it was nothing. But then again he was the weakest link of the Gammas during this time.
