Diagnosed with manic depression by psychiatrist Dr. Colleen McLemore
Begun treatment with Symbiax.
Switched over to Zyprexa (olanzapine) & fluoxetine
Stayed on Zyprexa for anti-psychotic but switched anti-depressant to Lexapro for anti-depression
Switched from Zyprexa to Seroquel 300mg for anti-psychotic. Maintained Lexapro 40mg for anti-depression.
Diagnosed in 2001 with ADHD and given Ritalin 5-10mg as needed
Tried Vyvance in place of Ritalin for ADHD symptoms and I forgot why, but I stayed on Ritalin as needed.
Switchd to Time-released version of Ritalin called Metadat-CD.
Discovered that I gota much better night's sleep if I took the Ritalin at night prior to going to bed.
Discovered that using dopamine agonists can benefit those with depression.
Did a lot of research on depression and ADHD and found that the medicines designed to treat these conditions work in very similar ways.
Tried cabergoline then pramipexole and discovered that I could benefit from this class of drugs.
Tried to titrate my self off of Seroquel 300mg. Failed. Unable to sleep for almost 2 weeks and went crazy. Went back on Seroquel 300mg.
