The Nanjing Massacre occurred in late 1937 and it lasted for over six weeks. The Imperial Japanese Army forces had mascaraed hundreds of thousands of people ranging from soldiers to civilians. This took place in a Chinese city called Nanking. It is called the Rape of Nanking because between 20,000 and 80,000 women during this time were sexually assaulted.
