Then treaty of Versailles was a peace agreement that brought an end to world war one. the document was singed but Germany and the allies on June 28th, 1919 in France. the treaty of Versailles was meant to keep the peace between Germany and the Allies. but this didn't work because Germany thought that the treaty of Versailles was unfair because Germany was held responsible and had to pay a huge amount of money for the damage and they lost some of their land. the treaty of Versailles was also one of the key elements that helped start world war two.
