The NES was known as the saviour of games, as it had amazing new game ideas, especially compared to the Atari. The NES had much better graphical capabilities compared to past consoles and arcade machines, with games like Super Mario Bros, which took the world by storm by created a new genre of games as well as better looking graphics and gameplay. The NES had better storage compared to other consoles as the games were much bigger than others, and needed more storage to be able to handle them. However, the games came on cartridges so there was rarely a problem. There are so many titles for the NES that were popular, including Metroid, Kirby's Adventure and Kid Icarus, all of which are still incredibly popular and well known franchises to this day.
