In this chapter, Salva explains what his experience in the desert was like. HE stubbed his toe, his lips were dry, and his shoes were destroyed. Soon, the group spotted men dead on the ground. Some went to help but others stood and ridiculed them for sharing their water knowing there wouldn't be enough for themselves.
