5 mar 1770 año - Boston Massacre
Descripción:
The Boston Massacre was a riot on March 5, 1770, that resulted in the death of 5 colonies and wounding 6. It all started between a lone British soldier and a mob of angry colonists. The soldier was guarding the King's money inside the Custom-house on King's street. A group of angry colonists approached him, insulted him, and threatened with violence. The soldier then struck a colonist with his bayonet, and thus the colonists started pelting him with rocks and snowballs. The soldier then fell and called for reinforcements. More soldiers entered the scene and took up a defensive position in front of the house. After someone had supposedly said the word "fire", a soldier fired into the crowd. No one knows if it was intentional or not. After the first shot, the other soldiers started firing.
