28 sept 1781 año - Battle of Yorktown and the Treaty of Paris

Descripción:

The Battle of Yorktown helped the Americans a lot because it had weakened the British Army. With the help of the French, Commander Washington captured the British and turned the tides. The Battle of Yorktown discouraged British folks, and became against this war. Eventually, Ben Franklin, John Adams, and John Jay met with the British in hopes to make a treaty. The Treaty of Paris was thus created to stop conflict between America and Great Britain. The colonists also decided to help with the British debt before the war.
