On May 2nd, Osama Bin laden, the man suspected of being behind the September 11th attacks and the FBI’s most wanted was killed by the Navy seals team six. This mission ended a ten year hunt by the special operations force of the United States after they infiltrated his hideout in Abbottabad Pakistan and killed him while he was sleeping. Bin Laden was the founder and leader of Al-Qaeda and was also a mastermind terrorist who was feared around the world. Al-Qaeda confirmed his death 3 day later on military websites stating that they would avenge his death, and other military groups in Pakistan vowed that they would retaliate against the United States. However other groups such as the United Nations welcomed the attack and were happy to hear that a dangerous criminal was off the street.
