The result of the Boston Tea Party, the Intolerable Acts were a series of bills (the Boston Port Act, Massachusetts Government Act, Administration Justice Act, Quartering Act of 1774, and Quebec Act 1774) passed as punishment to the colonists. These extreme and seemingly unrealistic laws were among a few "final straws" that pushed the beginning of the war.
