After helping packing, Summer & Tai volunteer to ne outriders while Qrow & Raven went with Nwyfre to scout for settlement portals. During riding Tai is shot. Nate tends to Tai's injury while Summer rushed towards the shooter. After a brief fight the shooter identifies himself as a huntsman taking on a job from the people of Chiang Mai. The job being to hunt and kill Barnwen tribe members. Summer pulls out the witchfinger's mark and tells the Hunter to leave. Summer returns to find Tai is fine due to Nate. Raven arrive to see if tai was okay and after a few jokes return to scouting.

That evening they received word that the caravan had reached the safe zone for the night. They meet up with the tribe at the safe zone, which turned out to be a cleverly hidden cavern. Tai & Summer have a conversation about who shot at them. The conversation ends on a light hearted mood. Raven & Qrow joined up with them and Tai learneds about his new nickname, He who rides with two buttholes. They'll later meet up with Nwyfre to talk about the hunter who shot at them. Nwyfre notices the Mark and chicest Summer for letting the hunter go even when she had the Mark. The conversation ends in an argument. Qrow and Ciara will be riding with Summer & Tai, Raven will be with Nwyfre.

After the conversation Raven set out to find someone with a worklist to help. Qrow went to gamble. Ciara Tracks down Summer & Tai and invites them to have tea. They have conversation that leads into Ciara's past, before she changes the subject to Summer's, Tai's, and Raven's relationship.
