Rïlen's Rebels vs Oipenta
Rïlen Valkor Wins
(Also Known as the Third Oipentian Civil war)

Lord Rïlen Valkor was from the originially exiled House of Vihepa. In the early 800s, his grandfather moved to Yenïthë and married the Lady Regent there, thus securing a spot for his lineage to rule in Oipenta again. When Rïlen became Lord of Yenïthë in 872, he was extremely radical. He implemented a modified writing system that he enjoyed looking at more than the Golden Oipientian Script, raised his own small, private army filled mainly of prisoners and mercenaries, and also began publicly speaking out against King Moskevanïm "the Silent", often calling him a blind pig and a mute. The Duke of the Vulxeš attempted to oust him from power, but failed, giving Rïlen more confidence in his power. He made numerous alliances with Southern leaders and then convinced the Duke of the Vulzeš to be on his side. Once he did this, he revolted against Great King Moskevanïm "the Silent". He wrote a letter to Moskevanïm detailing his reasons for rebellion. In the letter, he stated that he desired an end to the Confederacy of the Iopenta (forcing the Grand Duchy of Etëshkapenta into a regular Duchy), an end to his reign (due to his illness), a restoring of the Oipientian prowess it held in Yueroki (Rïlen believed that because of the King's illness, Oipienta had lost value among Yueroki nations), the implementation of his script (called the Valcor Script), and the succession of Moskevanïm's brother, Sešïvuth, or Rïlen himself (by including the line regarding Sešïvuth, he was hoping to influence the Prince into joining his side; he did not). With his army, he marched up to Kueplios, fighting battle after battle, having to retreat back to Lisnipsa after the failed Battle of Jekothi Pass. Eventually, he made his way to Kueplios and set siege to the city and then after 2 months, he captured the city. He then imprisoned the two brothers and Moskevanïm's pregnant wife and then crowned himself as Great King of the Confederacy of the Iopenta. Almost immediately after doing so, he declared an end to the Confederacy and reestablished the Kingdom of Oipientia, thus demoting the Grand Duchy of Etëshkapenta to a regular Duchy.
