Another significantly influencing factor came into play with the introduction of comprehensive evaluation systems. Efficiency, competition and performance were the new maxims that would make the education system internationally competitive without additional government funds. In a short time numerous rankings came on the market. The universities should use the rankings to bring the new spirit of competition to the fore, and scientists should focus more on the needs of potential "customers", especially in teaching. Students should use them as a practical guide and guidepost on their way to university and serve the subsequent career.
