The Lebanese Civil War was fought over regional, political, and individual rights. The Lebanese people weren't treated properly or represented because of their leader being Christian. Quickly, the war was over the region and soon the Palestinians became allies with the Lebanese, to help them win the war. This is significant to history because it completely remolded the borders of countries in the Middle East.
