Dallas Industries (1 Jan 1913 Jahr – 1 Jan 1920 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
In the 1900's, Dallas was the leading drug, book, and jewelry market in the south west U.S.. It also quickly became the center of trade in cotton, grain, and even buffalo. On December 1, 1913, Henry Ford installed the very first moving assembly line for the mass production of automobiles. This new invention reduced the time it took to build a car from more than 12 hours to approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
This made the process for making automobiles far more efficient, and, as a result, many more cars were able to be made and distributed.
