Obrador is the successor of Nieto and is associated with PRI Party. He is less associated with certain ideologies and is more associated with being a populist and nationalist. He has only been the President for 3 months, but is heavily involved in shoring up the border towns, as well as limiting the drug wars and corruption within Mexico. His most notable policy so far is the ordering of more oil refineries.
