Beschreibung:

Devices belonging to opted-in characters will make a sudden, loud beep. When the character looks at the display, it will have gone briefly pixelated and clearly glitchy, switch to a blank blue screen (yes, like the BSOD), and then seem to reboot and be back to normal.

Except it's not back to normal. The color on the band has changed, and suddenly, your character is behaving a little differently.
