The Industrial Revolution was a period in American history where America saw the advent of vast industrialization. The Industrial Revolution, like the Market Revolution before it, transformed America’s economy. It became more focused on manufacturing goods in factories and selling them quickly using new technologies such as the railroad. The Industrial Revolution forever took the focus of Americans away from agriculture to that of industry.
