Napoleon Invades Russia (24 Jun 1812 Jahr – 14 Dez 1812 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
Napoleon’s invasion of Russia was the turning point in the Napoleonic wars, where Napoleon, forced to rely on his own supply of grain and supplies due to the Russian Army burning fields as they retreated, decided to stay in Moscow for too long. In the winter, Napoleon’s army began to lose men even faster while he had still not won a decisive victory. Napoleon ended up abandoning his men in Russia, leaving France. This compromised the strength of his grip on Europe, with his Prussian and Austrian allies turning against him, decisively leading to his defeat.
