War of Spanish Succession (13 Aug 1701 Jahr – 7 Okt 1714 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

War between France and allies and the Hapsburgs and their allies for right to succession of the Spanish thrown. This would drastically tip the balance of power in Europe towards the victor. The War ended in somewhat of a stalemate, with neither side claiming the Spanish throne and the Treaty of Utrecht being signed, which ended French territorial ambitions and marked the rise of Great Britain.
