Danmark Expedition (1 Jan 1906 Jahr – 1 Jan 1908 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

The Danmark Expedition was led by Ludvig Mylius-Erichsen (who later died during the expedition) to mark the territory of Greenland and Iceland. Two men, J.P. Koch and Aage Bertelsen claimed to have seen an island, later known as the phantom island of Fata Morgana Land. They were the first people to see this island. Mylius-Erichsen told them that it was just a mirage, and that they didn't see anything.
