Enlightenment was the time where people took the ideas and the methods of the scientific revolution, they tried to see if there's a way they could discover the natural laws which governs humans society. Humans societies meant asking the question of why are things the way the are. In Enlightenment many thinker's went through and tried to find the solution to a lot of man's problems, their goal was ultimately to rely on human reason by the ability of mind to think throw-in problems in order to try and crate t a better society for everybody and minimize human suffering as much as possible.

The Enlightenment produced numerous books, essays, inventions, scientific discoveries, laws, wars and revolutions. The American and French Revolutions were directly inspired by Enlightenment ideals and respectively marked the peak of its influence and the beginning of its decline.
