Agricultural Revolution (1 Jan 1750 Jahr – 31 Dez 1880 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
The Agricultural Revolution included improvements in farming techniques and technology starting in Great Britain to make products more efficient. It transformed agriculture from traditional medieval farming to more productive, efficient, and mechanical methods of farming. One of these innovations that came to be in the Agricultural Revolution is Jethro Tull's seed drill. He invented this horse-drawn seed drill in 1701 to have a more productive way of farming. The machine drilled holes for three rows of seed at a time. This resulted in more food in a short period of time and it required less workers. All of the innovations made during the Agricultural Revolution helped boost the economy of Great Britain due to more crops being grown in a short period of time even more efficiently than before.
