The Elisabethan Period unfolded between 1558 abd 1603.

During this period Elizabeth I ruled England and its colonies. She was a successfull queen and is said to be having great survivingskills. The period of her governing is concidered to be a great period in the history of England. England confiscated a lot of land and made plenty of colonies, this period is called "The Golden Age" and she is concidered a national symbol.

Exept her great ruling skills she is also famous for the cultural aspecy of her life. She wore often beutiful dresses and were interested in culture. She encuraged the sociaty to engage in culture more than before. She loved plays and poetry and was a great supporter of William Shakespeare.

Elizabeth had a turbulent childhood due to a lot of losses. Her childhood may have led to her shifting characteristics, she could change emotional state pretty quickly. She was never married and never carried a child.
