The Renaissance (1 Jan 1485 Jahr – 31 Dez 1660 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

The Renaissance can be devided into three different parts:
- the Early Tuder Period (1485-558)
- the Elizabethan Period (1558-1603)
- the Jacobean Period (1603-1625)

Renaissance means "Rebirth" in Frence and that is great word to describe the sociaty at that time. During the Renaissance a globalization started to occur, trade with countries all around the world became common. Due to the commerce a lot of cultures met and influenced eachother. Europe got inspired by countries that were more far developed intelectually and technically.

During this period culture became a greater part of the everyday life. Music, theatre and literature. Elizabeth I who was the regent of England a while during this period. She loved art and culture so she encouraged the population to engage more in cultural events. Therfore Elizabeth I was a big factor of the great cultural development in England.
