In the final battle of the long and destructive blitzkrieg, Vos duels and bests Lord Etanes. before dying, Etanes makes a force oath with Vos: Stop the brutal blitzkrieg, and I will grant you binary. Vos agrees, and strikes Etanes down. Etanes' true motives are to with the Oath, allow himself to still have consciousness as a Will. He will slowly influence Vos to the dark side, and make him eventually Revive him once he has Vos' full loyalty. If the Oath is broken by one, he will die (if still alive) and his soul will be banished, unless revived later. If the Oath is contractually broken, then blitzkrieg will be allowed to continue, Vos' binary will go, and Etanes' soul will fade. The blitzkrieg pushed the Republic boarders to the edge of the Core and to the northern sectors of Hutt Space.
