Revan launches an attack on the newly discovered base world of the Partisans, in a desperate attempt to halt the devastating blitzkrieg. The Partisans, and then the Republic catch wind of these plans and lure the Sith into a trap. The grand flagship of the Sith Empire, the ship that carried Snoke into known space, The Finalizer is captured in a large and costly space battle (along with the Incinerator Satellite), first disabled from the outside and then boarded. The Sith make a ground assault of the base and raid the main base, to no avail. Vader, who leads the attack, barely escapes with his life, while his two clone assassins are killed. Grand Admiral Kallus, captured in the blitzkrieg, is found out by Sith forces to be a traitor and a spy for the Republic, and is gunned down by Partisans to prevent Rebel secrets from spilling. Savage is killed during the battle, and Nebula takes temporary command of the Partisans. Soon after the Battle, Jedi Quinlan Vos leaves the Jedi Order to join the Partisans, who he feels are handling the war better. He takes full command of the Partisans, and continues the blitzkrieg. The Partisans change their base to the world of Sinley.
