First Jewish rebellion against Rome (4 Jan 66 Jahr – 24 Jul 73 Jahr)

Under the pressure of Rome's high tax, and Rome's multiple attempts to damage the second temple, Jews rebelled. They wiped out a small Roman garrison stationed in Jerusalem, and the soldiers that Cestius Gallus (Roman ruler) sent after them. This victory brought them serious consequences. Roman soldiers massacred Jews in Galilee, and Jewish leadership did nothing to help, which caused a Jewish civil war. Roman soldiers were besieging Jerusalem outside and Jews were having a civil war inside. This led to the deaths of one million Jews (History).
