Pico Della Mirandola was Italian philosopher who wrote the Orientation on the Dignity of Man To defend the 900 theses on religion. He was one of the earlier people to disagree with the church on this topic which then led to events such as the Protestant Reformation. His paper the Orientation on the Dignity of Man was later banned by the church.
