The Council of Trent was held between 1545 through 1563 in Trent Italy. Many high-ranking officials in the Catholic church and Cardinals other than Trent to discuss the events occurring during this time especially regarding the Protestant Reformation. This has been said to have sparked the Catholic Reformation or reform inside the church.
