The black powder The main goal for black powder was immortality, but towards the end of the empire, it was used for military use. The compass was a huge inventions for mankind and was used for navigation for citizens and the military.
Interactions between regions- Usually traded with northern neighbors. Their economy thrived and was pretty advanced for it's times through their own inventions but also influence from other regions. A fight fought was the Jingkang Incident, and that was a big step for the empire. The Mongol Conquest of China took 6 decades to complete. And the Battle of Caishi was a major naval engagement.
