First Return - the first move back to Israel was led by Zerubbabel. They laid the foundations for the new Temple and built and altar to the Lord in 536 BC. They completed the Temple 70 years later.

Second Return - the second return was led by Ezra. Shortly after this Nehemiah obtained permission to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem which was completed in 52 days.
