Niels Bohr was a Danish physicist in the 1900's that was regarded as one of the foremost physicists in the 20th century. He was the first to apply Quantum Physics to atoms, which restricted them to discrete values in atomic and molecular structure. Because of this, he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1922.
