Battle of Yarmouk Rashidun Caliphate Vs Byzantine Army (20 Aug 636 Jahr – 26 Aug 636 Jahr)

In 636 CE, The Rashidun Caliphate which was led by Khalid Ibn Walid fought against the Byzantine Army at the Yarmouk river. The Byzantine Army was mixed with Armenians, Slavs, Franks and Christian Arabs to prevent Muslim expansion in Syria. After their 6 day long battle the Byzantine army was surrounded and with the amount of soldiers they lost, they had no choice but to retreat.
