After the funeral of Hugo I, his Kingdom was divided amongst his many grandchildren leading to the formation of more royal houses and the splitting of the kingdom into three pieces. North Heilig (Consisting of The Yellow Coast and Zoi) Middle Heilig (Consisting of Pepperidge and Chernebog) and South Heilig (Consisting of Borea, Neris, and Oltremare). These great kingdoms were ruled by the senior most 3 grandchildren. Jaegel the younger took the North, Hugo II ruled from Borea in the south, and the eldest surviving grandson Viktor gained the central crownlands. Jaegel would be killed during an uprising by Zoi, leading to their independence and the inheritance of the Yellow Coast by Viktor. Middle and South Heilig would fued amongst each other until The Great Jihad forced them to cooperate.
