Son of Vratislav I. He murdered his brother for his beliefs. He fought Otto I. "The Great", the first Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, it ended with them agreeing to an alliance. He later conquered many lands past Krakow and Przemysl. He founded the castle of Hradec and the city of Stará Boleslav
