He was an ordinary man until he was struck by an Asteroid and had alien technology merged with his brain. The device gave him a second personality, one with great intelligence and skills in engineering. The asteroid put him through a terrigenesis process, awakening his inhuman ability: invulnerability to gravity. If he were to fall, he would not be injured. He builds a suit that controls gravity and takes the name of the object that gave him his power and fights off threats in an ever dangerous world.
