Gorwynn Saphrix deposes Brelos Saphrix, seizing power in Brythas Dynas and refusing to pay tribute to the Enutídh Dynasty. After spectacularly crushing the far larger Enutídh horde at the Battle of Coredos, Gorwynn went on a series of campaigns to restore the dominance of the Saphrix Dynasties.

Through brilliant military tactics and playing his more powerful enemies against one another, Gorwynn first conquered Jonia, and then Beothéria. He negotiated the submission of the Bartannirái Dynasty in Uedatera to him, helping them defeat the Betelgenos Dynasty in return for their loyalty to him.

Gorwynn acquired the tribute of the Êirateran states by fighting alongside them to prevent the Enutídh Dynasty from conquering Êiratera, earned the loyalty of the republic of Caortídin by supporting its rule of the southern Honey Isles, and repelled an Ecurmái invasion of Beothéria that solidified him as the most powerful ruler in western Iorádh.
