The “Rule of the 30 Tyrants” refers to the Spartans rule of Athens after the Peloponnesian war. The rule was led by Critias, who led the oppressive regime which led to the approximate death of 1,500 residents living in Athens during the time. They executed, exiled, and killed hundreds of Athenians during their reign.
