The Creek War (1813-1814) (1 Apr 1813 Jahr – 9 Aug 1814 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
The Creek War was a conflict between the United States and the Creek Native American tribe. The war began when the Creek attacked Fort Mims, killing almost half of the people in the fort. Andrew Jackson, who was recovering from a bar fight at home, gathered 2,000 volunteers and crushed the Creek resistance on March 27, 1814. The Creeks were forced to cede two-thirds of their land to the United States, including part of Georgia and most of Alabama.
