Beschreibung:

Due to an increase in Japanese farmworker labor in the States, Japan arranged an agreement to prevent labor from entering in exchange for ending Japanese segregation in schools in fear of a similar exclusion law being applied to them.

Japanese labor dried up, being replaced by Filipino labor. Due to them technically being American citizens as the Philippines were US territory, they enjoyed more freedoms, but were still horribly mistreated.
