D. Henrique dies, son knights himself as leader and takes over Portucalense (1 Jan 1112 Jahr – 1 Jan 1128 Jahr)

Because D. Henrique's and D. Teresa's son, the aptly named D. Afonso Henriques, was only around 4 years old at the time of his death, D. Teresa is left to govern the county of Portucalense in 1112.

A decade later, D. Afonso Henriques knights himself at 14 and revolts against his mother, ending with his mother's death in the Battle of S. Mamede in 1128. He then started fighting against his superior, King Afonso VII, for recognition of the independence of the county of Portucalense.
