Catoncarix III 'the Victorious' 55 years (2 Jan 5867 Jahr – 1 Jan 5922 Jahr)

Catoncarix III founded the Cróganathair ('Iron-Born'), an elite royal guard similar to the Dráchanathair, but comprised of veteran soldiers of families from outside the nobility, raised to their position through merit and hand-picked by the Arsynérix himself, as well as the Arsynérix's own closest friends. He created 13 small armies of Cróganathair, one for each Iorádhine nation, to reduce the Arsynérix's dependence on the troops of his vassals.

However, immmediately after his father's death, several Glasemónn and Vespár nations defied Catoncarix's attempts at centralizing his imperial authority, claiming his new 'Silver Laws' of taxation to be unlawful, and attempted to outwit him at court to curtail his power in the Iorináreth.
The defiance of the Glasemónn Earls and Vespár Ĉánns, who had enjoyed great autonomy during his father's reign, greatly increased after Catoncarix created the Cróganathair and the 13 Renái, which threatened to greatly diminish the influence the rulers and nobility of the 13 Nations had over the Arsynérix.
After Catoncarix exposed a conspiracy to stop the mustering of the 13 Renái at court, he faced rebellion in Ardasepa and Esperia.

Using his recently founded Renái armies of disciplined Cróganathair, Catoncarix crushed the Vespár first, bringing Ardasepa under his control in a two-year campaign. He then married his daughter Iruïnna to Ranárdion, High King of Artokia, to secure his friendship. He made High Artokian the state language in northeastern Iorádh in recognition of Ranárdion's loyalty.

Catoncarix raised a large army from western Iorádh to march on the north, while Ranárdion raised an army in the east. When the Glasemónn Earls of Esperia were ordered to surrender to him, some relented and laid down their arms. He immediately rewarded these by promising them the lands of those Earls who still defied them, and after 3 years of war in the dense northern forest, Esperia was fully pacified.

In his later reign, faced with the height of Attişian slave raids across the Honey Isles, Êiratera and Bartannia, Catoncarix launched a punitive expedition to Attişia.
He was largely successful, subjugating numerous cities with the largest army raised by the Iorináreth in its history, and freeing 20,000 Iorádhine slaves that were transported back to Iorádh, also seizing most of the plunder stolen from Iorádh by Attişian raiders and the treasuries of several Attişian cities.
