Roman Influence: Roman Britain was characterized by urbanization, the building of roads, forts, villas, and cities like Londinium (London). The Romans introduced Christianity, Latin, Roman law, and infrastructure like baths, theaters, and aqueducts. However, Roman influence was mostly confined to the south and east of Britain.
