The Umayyad Emirate of Córdoba (756-929) (1 Jan 756 Jahr – 1 Jan 929 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
The Umayyad Emirate of Córdoba was a medieval Islamic kingdom in the Iberian Peninsula. Established in 756 by Abd al-Rahman I, a prince of the deposed Umayyad dynasty, it encompassed southern, central, and eastern Iberia, regions known as Al-Andalus. It's a political-religious unit smaller than a caliphate. It can be considered equivalent to a principality in non-Muslim contexts.
