USSR creating communist governements in Eastern Europe

Take control (puppet governements)
Keep control (occupy with red army -> delay ellections -> coalition governements (included the communist party) -> give them roe in justice system -> remove (arrests, trials,..) key leaders (other parties) -> merge communist/ larger socialist (= communist have power over new party) -> rigg elections + "people's republic)
= apearance of democracy + impliment soviet model and shape economy

Prague coup 1948:
cause: fear of collapse (Stalin) + tensions within Czechia (civil war?) + Tito distancing + votes dropped at ellections = could've collaborated if not for these tnesions
Event: tensions in coallition governement -> non-communist ministers reign (to force new elections) but communists organise demonstriations and take power (police institutions) -> crises environment pushes the president to let the communists form a new governement -> consolidate power, eliminate opposition and become a one-party state
